In the heart of Suffolk, Virginia, sits a 1910 brick building with a new lease on life. Once part of a bustling suburb that faded when a highway expansion diverted traffic, the building now houses Miss Lilly’s Trading Post LLC — a consignment shop and market bringing both charm and commerce back to the community.
“We love being in a small town and bringing it back to life,” shares Lisa Byrne, Owner of Miss Lilly’s Trading Post.
From Treasure Hunting to Trading Post
The owners’ passion for treasure hunting inspired Miss Lilly's. Instead of opening just another retail store, they envisioned a space where shoppers could explore an eclectic mix of antiques, vintage finds, furniture, home décor, candles, clothing, and more.
The shop’s name comes from a special family member: their 13-year-old Chocolate Labrador, Miss Lilly.
A Unique Destination

“We have so many different items that anyone should be able to find something they like. And, our building is very unique. When you step inside it looks like a barn, hence the reason we call it our barn. It is also a destination for shopping and exploring the area we are in.”
