November 24, 2015

Take a little extra time and send memorable digital greetings

How you communicate says a lot about you. My personality tends to be loud and outgoing so I’m not known for subtlety. Your business has a personality too and you need to communicate your image in every piece of marketing you send. This holiday, deliver unique online digital greetings that matches your store brand. They are the perfect way to reach your existing customers and attract new ones. Whether you’re hosting a holiday Open House or thanking your best customers, digital holiday cards make your message stand out.

1.) Paperless Post Paperless Post is my favorite for sending digital greetings

By far, I think paperlesspost.com has the most beautiful digital greetings to choose from. You can send their basic card without any of the bells & whistles for free, but adding an envelope or special designs means you need “coins.” You receive 25 coins just for signing up and there are a number of ways to earn additional coins. Depending on your choices, each card sent can take up to 3 or more coins. If you need to purchase coins, the cost is $6 for an additional 20 up to $325 for 5,000.

2.) Smilebox Smilebox is another place to send digital greetings

smilebox.com gives you the ability to not only email your message but also post it to your Facebook page. Smilebox lets you create collages, slideshows, scrapbooks and more. Joining Club Smilebox allows you to create digital greetings with movement and believe it or not, music. The basic service is free however you do have to give credit card information and cancel after your 7-day free trial. You can send unlimited cards for as little as $3.99 a month when the annual fee of $47.88 is paid in advance.

3.) Punchbowl

Also giving a 7-day free trial, punchbowl.com is a complete event organizer.  They offer the invitations, the paper products and even party suggestions. For as little as $1.99 per month, you can Punchbowl is my 3rd recommendation for digital greetingsregularly send invitations or announcements. A paid membership has some definite benefits however. As a member, you can customize your invitations with a logo, remove the advertising your recipients see and upgrade to additional designs. Paid plans begin at $19 a year and go as high as $399 a year for large businesses.
